Job Summary

The Senior Controls Engineer at TAIT is responsible for designing and implementing control systems for various projects. This role requires a strong understanding of automation technologies and the ability to lead a team of engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement control systems for projects
  • Lead a team of engineers in design and implementation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Theatre
  • 7+ years of experience in a related field
  • Experience with large, distributed control systems
  • Knowledge of functional safety standards
  • Familiarity with Beckhoff, Siemens, and Allen Bradley hardware and software

Preferred Qualifications

  • FSEng certification
  • Knowledge of TAIT Navigator software
  • Basic knowledge of commercial aspects of projects

Travel Requirements

15-20% travel required, must be able to acquire passport for international travel.
