Clover UK Channel Product Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Product Manager to lead the Clover UK Channel product development and delivery. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving product-focused business transformation initiatives and ensuring alignment with our Annual Operating Plans (AOP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the business in leadership meetings to understand the strategy and product support needs.
  • Work closely with Product Area Leads (PALs) to understand the product roadmap and delivery schedule.
  • Lead product-focused business transformation initiatives and drive PI Planning/Product Delivery for Clover UK.
  • Triage business requests for product enhancements or new products and evaluate high-level business cases.
  • Prioritize against other requests from the business using Weighted Shortest Job First (WSJF) and ensure alignment with AOP.
  • Project Management (PI Planning): Work with PMO to raise Clarity project for the business, engage with Solutions team to get project impact assessed, and obtain business approvals.
  • Sign-off business requirements developed by Solutions team and prioritize the project with PALs during weekly prioritization forum.
  • Remain engaged with all teams to ensure delivery is on track and keep the business informed of the status.
  • Craft comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new propositions/products and work with training team to create materials for sales/impacted teams.
  • Co-own business P&L and other key objectives, focusing on improving Net-New KPI (merchant count) and providing input into retention and pricing strategies.
  • Manage ongoing merchant maintenance with PALs to address issues and drive resolutions, evaluate industry news for competitive intelligence, and offer regulatory guidance to the business.
  • Collaborate on monthly planning and forecasting.

Requirements:

  • Proven product management/solutions experience.
  • Commercially minded with strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform product decisions.
  • Ability to make difficult decisions based on the value to customers and overall business in a fast-paced, complex, and at times stressful environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with effective stakeholder management and client management.
  • Experience working with technical delivery teams.
