Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Middlesbrough Therapy Team as a Clinical Support Worker Higher Level, Therapy Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing rehabilitation to patients in the local community.

Main Responsibilities

Working in the community, you will work alongside Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to implement rehabilitation programmes in patients' own homes, care homes, and group settings. You will be expected to undertake independent visits to implement exercise programmes, complete mobility practice, self-care practice, provide, fit, and check equipment as requested by the therapist.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in health or social care
  • Experience of undertaking and recording clinical observations and escalation of changes or findings
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
