This SEN Support Worker role is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate with a passion for teaching to work with children who have Behavioural Difficulties and SEMH needs. You will be working in a small class setting, providing valuable support to students with SEND and additional needs.


The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Behavioural Difficulties and SEMH and be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students. You will be working closely with the class teacher to implement tailored interventions and strategies to support students with SEND.


This role is ideal for a Graduate who is looking to gain experience in a school setting and develop their skills and knowledge in supporting children with SEND. You will be working in a modern and adaptive school site with great facilities and a team of experienced educators.


The school is committed to staff progression and offers opportunities for Continuing Professional Development (CPD). You will have the opportunity to work closely with the school's therapeutic team to develop and implement effective strategies to support students with SEND.


This role is a great opportunity for a Graduate to kick start their career in education and make a meaningful impact on the lives of vulnerable children.


Key responsibilities:



  • Working 1-1 and in small group interventions with a class in KS3
  • Supporting students with SEND and additional needs
  • Working closely with the class teacher to implement tailored interventions and strategies
  • Providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting other children in the class as and when needed
