We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality medicines optimisation services in community mental health teams.
About the RoleThe Pharmacy Technician will work closely with Clinical Lead Pharmacists and Lead Medicines Optimisation Technicians to contribute to medicines optimisation activities. The role involves working to appropriate clinical standards, developing the service in line with local and national strategies and standards, and collaborating with the team to improve patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to medicines optimisation activities in community mental health teams
- Work closely with Clinical Lead Pharmacists and Lead Medicines Optimisation Technicians
- Develop the service in line with local and national strategies and standards
- Collaborate with the team to improve patient care
The ideal candidate will have a recognised Medicines Optimisation qualification, excellent communication and organisational skills, and experience in a hospital pharmacy or equivalent position. They will also have the ability to react to and manage changing situations, motivate and inform staff, and deal professionally with sensitive information.
