Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Regional Chef to join our team at Bright Horizons. As a Regional Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our young children, while maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for children, adhering to nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory, ordering, and budgeting.
  • Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to provide a positive dining experience for children.
  • Support the development of new menus and recipes, while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably with children.
  • Food Safety certification (CIEH L2 or above).
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
