Warehouse Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Operative to join our team at Absolute Personnel. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking: Select and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Loading and Unloading Delivery Vehicles: Safely load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Working in Cold Store Environments: Maintain a safe and clean working environment in cold storage areas, adhering to food safety and quality control procedures.
- Operating Forklift Trucks: Safely operate reach trucks and PPT licensed forklifts, ensuring efficient and safe movement of goods.
- Completion of Relevant Paperwork Documents: Accurately complete and maintain relevant paperwork, including temperature checks and inventory management.
- Following Company Policies and Procedures: Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Awareness of HACCP Principle: Understand and apply the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) to ensure food safety and quality control.
- Compliance with Quality, Health & Safety Procedures: Ensure compliance with quality, health, and safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment for self and others.
- Identifying and Communicating Factors Impacting Operations: Identify and communicate any factors that may impact warehouse operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Ensuring Warehouse Operations are Completed Safely and Efficiently: Ensure all warehouse operations are completed safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Operating in Line with Organisational KPIs: Meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective fulfillment of customer orders.
- Ensuring Work is Completed in Compliance with Food Safety Requirements: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to food safety and quality control procedures.
- Contributing to a Positive Site Culture: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
- Achieving Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, enhancing warehouse operations and customer satisfaction.
