About the Role

The Soil Association Exchange is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farming Advisor Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our delivery team, you will play a vital role in shaping the direction of our organisation and contributing to the success of our farming initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of our farming initiatives, working closely with our team to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and growers, providing expert advice and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with our science and operations teams to ensure the effective delivery of our farming programs.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement, ensuring our farming initiatives are efficient, effective, and sustainable.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in farming or a related field, with a strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with farmers, growers, and colleagues.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
