Job Description

This position is a great opportunity for a mechanical engineer to join our team in Preston. We are looking for someone with a mechanical or plumbing bias, who can effectively communicate with customers and deliver high levels of service.

The key responsibilities of the role will include: carrying out planned preventative maintenance tasks on building plant, equipment, and systems, responding to site engineering emergencies and carrying out reactive works as required.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines. They will also be committed to promoting health and safety excellence at all times.

Requirements:

  • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing (MUST)
  • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 HVAC (MUST)
  • BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) (DESIRED)
  • AP11-Authorised person mechanical system (Boiler and pressure system)(DESIRED)
