Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Research Assistant to join our Clinical Operations team. As a Clinical Research Assistant, you will play a critical role in the conduct of Phase 1 studies across all therapeutic areas, ensuring compliance with ICH Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and local regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the conduct of Phase 1 studies, including the preparation of clinical equipment and areas for studies.
  • Collect, process, and label urine, breath alcohol, and other specimens.
  • Complete CRFs and capture other data as required.
  • Organize subject admission and orientation.
  • Perform investigations on subjects, including physiological measurements and venepuncture.
  • Prepare clinical equipment and areas for studies.
  • Prepare study documentation, including forms and logs.
  • Supervise urine and faecal collections.
  • Take blood samples by venepuncture and from cannulas.
  • Order volunteer payments on Clinbase.
  • Perform other duties as required, including equipment maintenance and checking.

Requirements

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Client-focused approach to work.
  • Flexible attitude with respect to work assignments and new learning.
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • Practical and dexterous.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Computer literate.
  • Use of initiative, ability to meet deadlines, and work prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred degree in life science or equivalent qualification and/or experience working in clinical research and/or experience of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Or a wealth of experience working as a Healthcare Assistant.
