Financial Assistant

We are seeking a talented individual to join our finance team as our new Accounts Payable Assistant. As part of the finance team, you will be responsible for administering day-to-day finance tasks, ensuring the smooth management of our finances.
Key Responsibilities:- Accurately code and process high volumes of invoices from suppliers.
- Process some accounts receivable transactions and maintain relevant general ledger accounts.
- Request, review, and monitor invoice approvals.
- Diligently monitor accounts payable emails and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Process employee expenses.
- Maintain aged creditors, ensuring timely payments and resolving outstanding issues.
- Process and maintain banking transactions, reconciling bank accounts.
- Request and reconcile supplier statements on a monthly basis.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
- Previous experience working as a Finance or Accounts Payable Assistant.
- Fantastic communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Organised and enthusiastic approach to work.
- Good working knowledge of MS package.
- Experience of using accounting software would be an advantage (NetSuite preferable).
- Level 3 AAT Qualification or experience to the same level.
