Job Overview

G &H CARE LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled Senior Care Assistant to join our dedicated care team. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to our residents and supporting the care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Care Delivery:
    • Provide high-quality personal care to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
    • Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor junior care assistants.
    • Delegate tasks and monitor the quality of care provided.
  • Health and Safety:
    • Administer medication in line with guidelines and training.
    • Monitor residents' health and report any changes to healthcare professionals or management.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a care assistant and senior care assistant role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification (preferred).
  • Medication administration training and certification.
  • A sound understanding of CQC regulations and standards.

The estimated salary for this position is £27,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
