We are seeking an experienced and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Burton Park, a 50-bedded neurobehavioural locked rehabilitation hospital. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality therapy services to patients with acquired brain injury and neuro-progressive conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and develop treatment plans for patients with complex needs
- Provide specialist assessments, interventions, and guidance to support patients and staff
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, including OT/rehab assistants
- Participate in service development and staff management
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with the Health Care Professions Council
- Experience working in neurorehabilitation
- Ability to apply problem-solving skills to complex situations
- Experience of supervising junior and non-qualified staff
- Knowledge of outcome measure tools relevant to Occupational Therapy
