Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Memory Lane Cakes site. As a key member of our cross-functional maintenance team, you will provide a multi-skilled engineering resource and first-line maintenance to the site, covering both mechanical and electrical, breakdown, fault-finding, and scheduled maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned maintenance and breakdown support to all areas of the site, including all service facilities.
  • Gain understanding of the impact the facilities have on the running of the plant, to ensure the site runs at optimum capacity.
  • Minimise downtimes and ensure maximum equipment availability.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement culture, identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce site waste.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience operating as a multi-skilled engineer role.
  • Completed apprenticeship, with appropriate mechanical, electrical, and control's capability.
  • Appropriate Health and Safety level of training and experience.
  • Ability to travel to carry out duties at other facilities within the group and customer base.
  • Effective communication, reporting, and decision-making.
