The Role

We are seeking a Digital Agency Sales Manager to join our OEM & Media team. This role is instrumental in positioning us as the foremost commerce media group and strategic collaborator within the automotive sector.

You will work closely with the Group Head and Media Director to develop and execute effective media strategies, deliver exceptional client service, and contribute to the overall success of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver advertising revenue targets by focusing on our established pipeline and building successful media proposals for media agency partners and clients directly.
  • Develop stronger relationships with key media agency partners across their business through frequent review meetings and co-developed processes to achieve an 'always-on' position.
  • Understand and research key performance metrics and strategies by brand to build bespoke data-driven advertising proposals.
  • Ensure we are always front of mind for Agency Planners, Buyers, Strategists, and Business Directors, establishing us as a core media partner.
  • Work collaboratively with the Group Head to improve the media proposition, in collaboration with our product and design teams.
  • Provide insightful, clear, and timely reporting on ongoing projects for media agencies and clients.
Requirements
  • Adaptability - our media agency proposition is tailored, native, and data-driven, requiring someone who can think outside the box.
  • Knowledge of the media agency world, ideally with experience working as an Account Manager or similar role within an agency, or working closely with media agencies in a publisher/media owner ecosystem.
  • Confidence in owning and executing your own contact and prospecting strategy to build new relationships from scratch.
  • A successful track record in closing and delivering large advertising deals with a customer and data-centric approach.
  • Mastery of Salesforce reports to monitor quarterly bookings and pipeline against personal and team targets.
  • Comfortable handling and analysing data in a data-driven sales environment.
  • A team player who is comfortable collaborating at all levels and open to feedback to develop skills.
  • Polished, hands-on, energetic, and a self-starter who enjoys autonomy and delivering results.
  • Highly articulate and able to think on your feet, especially with senior decision-makers.
  • Confident, possessing a can-do attitude, and enjoying developing and selling new solutions.
  • A lateral thinker, able to approach tasks multiple ways until the outcome is achieved.
  • Familiarity with consumer verticals, ideally the automotive sector.
