The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Strategist to join our Building LCA team at Eight Versa.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sustainable built environment to contribute to our multidisciplinary sustainability consulting team.

Key responsibilities:

Develop and manage the delivery of sustainability strategies and services, including:

· BREEAM LCA, BREEAM LCC, Whole Life Carbon, Pre Demolition Audit, Operational Waste Management Plan etc.

· Develop Circular economy statements

· Perform detailed calculations to find material flows, greenhouse gas emissions footprints and other environmental metrics as may be required

· Develop Environmental Product Declarations (EPD)

· Consult clients to determine expectations and achieving key deliverables

· Promote and engage commercial clients on the merits of LCA and circular economy principles

Personal attributes and skills:

· Have a passion for sustainability and sustainable built environment

· A degree in a relevant field such as construction, engineering, architecture

· Knowledge of the relevant ISO Standards, GHG footprinting and Product Category Rules (PCR)

· Knowledge of using various LCA software such as, eTool, OneClick LCA or OpenLCA

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· A swift problem-solver with initiative

· Strong analytical skills and attention to details

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Understanding of the sustainability challenges that organisations face in today's climate
