Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated and organized Mobile General Assistant to join our team in the Nottinghamshire area. As a key member of our quick-service restaurant team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment.

As a Mobile General Assistant, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals for our school team and pupils, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen and serving areas, and supporting the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles. You will also be responsible for observing food handling and hygiene regulations, following health and safety guidelines, and ensuring that all machines and equipment are operated correctly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals to our school team and pupils
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen and serving areas
  • Support the loading and unloading of supply and delivery vehicles
  • Observe and adhere to food handling and hygiene regulations
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure that all machines and equipment are operated correctly and safely
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Basic knowledge of food handling and hygiene regulations
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle
