TPF Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Accounts & Tax Manager to join a reputable firm of chartered accountants in Chatham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and overseeing the work of a small team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
- Oversee the production of company accounts, financial statements, corporation tax, and personal tax.
- Build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Liaise regularly with clients to ensure a strong partnership.
- Ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Work closely with partners to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Opportunity to contribute to business development and marketing efforts.
- Opportunity to work on audit projects, if interested.
- Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience.
- 5-10+ years of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Experience preparing accounts and tax returns.
- Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage would be advantageous.
- Competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000, negotiable.
- Parking facilities.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
