About the Role
We are looking for an accomplished Management Accountant to ensure the accuracy and delivery of client reporting, manage client P&Ls and financial packs, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, an approach to continuous improvement, and exceptional internal and external customer service skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts, balance sheet lead schedules, and cash flow forecasts within agreed client reporting deadlines.
- Deliver any other client contractual requirements and support annual statutory audits.
- Review and approve client annual operating budgets with the VervLife operations team before presentation to clients.
- Attend client meetings and lead from a finance perspective, completing any actions arising.
- Maintain Financial Regulations, standard operating procedures, and controls at all times.
- Ensure the team provides exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- A qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or QBE) with 5+ years of relevant management accounts experience.
- Experience working in various areas of the finance function.
- Thorough knowledge of a finance package (Xero and/or MS Dynamics an advantage).
Benefits
This role offers a competitive salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer enhanced DBS clearance prior to commencement of employment.
