About the RoleWe are seeking an Horticulture Assistant to join our team at Riverlution, a Community Interest Company.
As an Apprentice Horticulture Operative, you will work within a site-based team to deliver water catchment management projects. This will involve carrying out tasks safely and efficiently to company, industry, and legislative standards.
You will communicate any issues that affect the safe operation of the team to the Site Supervisor and/or Leadership Team. Additionally, you will assist in the maintenance of tools, equipment, and associated records.
Your day-to-day activities will include tree management, river and habitat restoration, and grounds maintenance. You will also control vegetation, including site clearance and weed management.
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a Level 2 Horticulture Apprenticeship Standard through Bishop Burton College on day release.
We estimate the salary for this role to be around £20,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
