Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Chessington World of Adventures Resort. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall kitchen operation in the absence of the Head Chef.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assuming responsibility for the general production of breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, service, and presentation
• Supporting with managing the profit and loss (P&L) and all associated financials
• Delivering first-class food throughout service
• Managing all associated administration, including daily and weekly cleaning schedules

About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity reporting into our Operational Head Chef on site. You will have the chance to lead, coach, and develop a large team and be involved in our constant innovation and evolving product.

You will also be expected to champion the people part of our business, support our Head Chef in carrying out team 1-2-1s, completing rotas, and training plans. Food safety and high standards of cleanliness will be a key focus for you.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant culinary experience operating at a Sous Chef or Head Chef level, a passion for food and service, flexible approach to hours and duties, and IT literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
