Fire Alarm Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team at Reed. As a Fire Alarm Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our customers by delivering top-notch services to a variety of clients, both locally and further afield.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintain different types of fire alarm systems, including conventional, bi-wire, and addressable systems.
  • Test and inspect alarm systems, recording faults and issues.
  • Visit commercial properties such as banks, schools, and retail outlets to provide exceptional services to our customers.
  • Represent the company professionally and interact with diverse people and requirements regularly.
Requirements:
  • Good level of IT literacy.
  • Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months, with a maximum of 6 points (subject to insurance requirements).
  • Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/night shifts as needed.
  • Understanding of Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
