About the Role:

You will be working closely with the Group Treasury Accountant to assist with daily banking updates, process bank charge invoices, and reconcile statements. You will also be responsible for managing un-reconciled items, supporting weekly payment runs, and providing cover for the Group Treasury Accountant.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Assist with daily banking updates, treasury emails, cash flow actuals, and financial queries.
  3. Process and reconcile bank charge invoices, download bank statements, and upload to Unit 4, and manage un-reconciled items.
  4. Support weekly payment runs, including manual payments, direct debits, and cross-company journals.
  5. Assist with audits and year-end by gathering payment evidence and approvals.
  6. Maintain a weekly task list and track project progress.
  7. Provide monthly balance sheet reconciliation for treasury accounts.
  8. Provide cover for the Group Treasury Accountant, including cash flow forecasting.
Requirements:

We are looking for someone with strong organisational and time management skills, as well as excellent communication skills. You should have experience from a multi-currency finance department, ideally within the transport industry, and be proficient in MS Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel.
