The Workplace Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team.

Main Function of the Role

The Accountant will provide critical support to the Chief Financial Officer, Group Financial Controller, and other Senior Managers across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure effective financial operations and control, maintaining accounting systems, processes, and policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of robust and timely financial information for the trading activities of the group, including analysis of company expenditure, cost centers, and other financial metrics.
  • Support the administration of VAT functions and provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.
  • Lead the audit process, working closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounting and finance team, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, Xero, and Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Qualified or actively studying towards a professional accounting certification, such as CIMA or ACCA.
