Job Title: System Administrator Network Infrastructure Data Center

Zentraler IT-Betrieb Niedersächsische Justiz is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator Network Infrastructure Data Center to join our team in Celle or work from home. As a key member of our 13-strong team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and administration of the network infrastructure in the data center of the Lower Saxony justice system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting the data center network infrastructure
  • Creation and implementation of technical concepts for the infrastructure
  • Collaboration in innovative IT infrastructure projects for the justice system
  • Visualization and documentation of project and work results
Requirements:
  • A relevant university degree (e.g. computer science) and at least two years of professional experience or equivalent skills and experience
  • Good knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, WAN, and VLAN as well as WLAN networks
  • Ability to analyze network protocols using various tools
  • Good general knowledge of Linux and MS Windows Server, as well as MS Windows client operating systems
  • German language skills corresponding to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and IT-standard English language skills
  • Willingness to travel on business within Lower Saxony
