SALES ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sales Engineer at NCP Network Ltd, you will be responsible for executing our business sales strategy to achieve growth targets and preparing sales reports demonstrating pipeline opportunities through our CRM tools.

You will identify new product opportunities suitable for our clients' extensive production capabilities and contribute to the growth of the business in various engineering sectors.

Key responsibilities include managing and retaining relationships with existing clients, building the client base, and identifying new product development opportunities for composite and polymer solutions in new market sectors.

You will also attend and exhibit/present at industry conferences, exhibitions, and events, and create contacts up to the highest level of decision-making.

Additionally, you will draft and review contracts, act as a technical liaison between our clients and the client on new enquiries, and develop growth strategies and plans by building on success and identifying areas for improvement.

Supporting the project management team to assist smooth introduction of new contracts/products into and through production, aligned to client delivery and quality requirements, is also a key aspect of this role.

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

To succeed in this role, you will need to be educated to degree standard or equivalent in engineering, with a minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience, preferably in manufacturing/engineering sectors.

A strong track record of account management, closing deals, and achieving sales targets is essential, as is proven ability to negotiate and experience of working to and exceeding targets.

Knowledge of composite and/or polymer materials is desirable but not essential, and you will need to be able to self-motivate and motivate a team, with excellent organisational skills and demonstrated business judgment.

Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills are also required, as well as good computer skills with experience of using the MS Office suite and CRM systems.

You will need to be able to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical, to staff members and customers in a clear and concise manner, and be confident, proactive, self-starter, and enthusiastic self-learner.

A valid UK driving licence is also required for this role.
