Pharmaceutical Packaging Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Packaging Specialist to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a Packaging Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our blister packaging process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and concurrent documentation of all tasks completed.
  • Operate assigned equipment, including PLC-controlled packaging lines and vision systems.
  • Clean production equipment and facilities, and set up/disassemble packaging equipment as needed.
  • Apply good safety techniques, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and proper use of personal protective equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with peers and supervisor, and demonstrate good attendance and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 6-12 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures, and apply general math skills.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical skills and experience with hand tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime, and move up and down stairs/ladders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with vision systems and robotic fillers.
  • Knowledge of PC using Windows-based applications.

Work Environment:

  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, product dust/particulate, loud noise, and temperature variations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality.
