Position Overview

We are in search of a highly skilled and motivated Software Quality Assurance professional to become a part of our Software Engineering division. Within the System Solutions team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Computing Infrastructure through Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems. This position involves collaboration with a distributed team across various locations, focusing on ensuring that firmware developed for Arm Neoverse CSS platforms meets product readiness standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop automated testing solutions to ensure the delivery of high-quality firmware, collaborating with established teams on open-source software stacks for server platforms.
  • Create test cases and infrastructure for validating firmware against both internal and customer-defined test specifications across diverse categories, including Compliance, Stress, Reliability, Performance, and more.
  • Contribute to the development of Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines and utilize appropriate tooling for various testing types.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance and test automation for system software, particularly within server ecosystems.
  • Proficient in developing test code and automation for firmware or system software, with strong programming skills in C, Python, and Bash.
  • Experience in system validation for platforms utilizing UEFI and ACPI, focusing on technologies such as RAS, Virtualization, and Power Management.
  • Expertise in both pre-silicon and post-silicon validation processes.
  • Experience in the verification and validation of embedded software release candidates.
  • Solid understanding of computer architecture and micro-architecture concepts, particularly related to Arm technology.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience validating production-quality firmware in the server domain.
  • Familiarity with static and dynamic code analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of the Arm SystemReady SR Compliance Program.
  • Experience with Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) practices.
  • Mentoring and management experience.
  • Familiarity with open-source projects such as Linux Kernel and OpenBMC.
