Job Title: Site Engineer (Highways Structures Team)

Contract: 6-12 Months (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to contribute to the delivery of high-quality highway structures on a key infrastructure project based in Gloucester.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a landmark project that will enhance transportation infrastructure and contribute to the local community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
  • Monitor and inspect structural works, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.
  • Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and smooth project progression.
  • Provide technical advice and support to the construction team, resolving any site issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress tracking, and quality assurance documentation.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects, with a strong background in structural engineering.
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using engineering software and tools. Strong understanding of construction methods and industry standards.
