Job Title: Optometrist - Bournemouth

We are seeking a dedicated Optometrist to join our dynamic team at Asda Opticians in Bournemouth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and service, working alongside our Dispensing Optician Manager to support our departmental standards.

A typical day will involve completing eye examinations, contact lens and extended service examinations. You will also be involved in training, coaching, and maintaining all our departmental standards. Due to our extended service contracts with the NHS, we're committed to delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of eye conditions, and we'll support you to gain any additional accreditations you may need to be able to deliver these services.

We offer a fantastic CPD programme, protected time to complete further accreditations, and a CET package. Our team is passionate about developing and supporting our Optometrists to reach their full potential, and we're committed to providing a memorable experience for our customers.

As a member of our team, you will be fully supported in all aspects of your role, whether your query is clinical or service-based. You will be working with in-store, regional, and home office teams to ensure that you have the full training package to meet the ever-changing eye care needs of our customers.

We are looking for a skilled candidate who is eager to join us, contribute to our store's excellent service levels, and foster positive relationships within our team and the wider community. If you are a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOC, a registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, and MECS or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining Asda), we would love to hear from you.
