Job Title: Event Planner for Care Homes

About the Role:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Event Planner for Care Homes. This role is responsible for planning and executing engaging events and activities for residents, collaborating with care teams and external companies to create memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement event plans that cater to the diverse needs and interests of residents, promoting social interaction and overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with external companies to plan days out and events, ensuring seamless logistics and execution.
  • Organize one-to-one sessions with residents, utilizing reminiscing tools, puzzles, reading, or simply having a cup of tea and a chat to foster meaningful connections.
  • Support the care home with its social media channels, maintaining regular updates and engaging content.

Requirements:

  • An organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in event planning, with the ability to think creatively and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Effective budget management and maintenance of paperwork to ensure seamless operations.
