Mechanical Engineer Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. As a Mechanical Engineer you will support sustaining tasks, address design issues and ensure high-quality solutions are implemented efficiently. You will work closely with the Engineering Managers, Senior Engineers and Production teams to rectify and improve designs, models and drawings releasing fixes into the PLM system.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this role include investigating and resolving engineering issues using a sound evidence-based approach and ensuring compliance with relevant codes of conduct, quality standards and health & safety practices. Additionally, you will need to have a strong understanding of dynamic mechanical, electromechanical and mechatronic systems. A Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent Level 6 qualification with relevant experience is required. Proficiency in 3D CAD tools and EDM systems as well as competence in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is also necessary. The estimated salary for this role is up to £400 per day.
