We are seeking an experienced Physics Graduate with a passion for delivering high-quality devices that meet demanding customer specifications. As a key member of our Product Verification Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful verification and testing of complex space and science projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of semiconductor device physics and test development, commissioning, and fault-finding. Experience in using LabVIEW or MATLAB in an industrial or lab-based environment is highly desirable.

About the Role:

  • On-time delivery and management of allocated work packages/tasks to the required standard. You will be responsible for ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, meeting the required standards.
  • Writing project documentation including test plans, procedures, and test reports. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to write clear and concise documents that convey technical information effectively.
  • Commissioning test equipment in accordance with internal and customer specifications, including some scripting and coding for Automated Test Equipment (ATE). You will need to ensure that all test equipment is properly commissioned and functioning as required.
  • Performing technical investigations where necessary into failure modes and anomalous results. Your analytical skills will help identify root causes of issues and implement solutions.
  • Supporting internal and customer meetings by presenting technical information and carrying out relevant actions. You will be confident in communicating complex technical information to various stakeholders.
  • Supporting teams outside of the Product Verification Team, including Operations and Process Engineering. Collaboration is key in this role, working closely with other teams to achieve common goals.
  • Actively participating in ensuring that quality assurance practices are adhered to and maintained throughout the project life cycle. Your commitment to quality will ensure that all projects meet the highest standards.
  • Supporting, helping to identify, and carrying out process improvement activities for both project-specific and more general processes. Your innovative thinking will help improve existing processes and implement new ones.

About You:

  • A degree in Physics or a related field is essential.
  • You must have a solid understanding of semiconductor device physics.
  • Test development, commissioning, and fault-finding experience is highly valued.
  • LabVIEW or MATLAB experience in an industrial or lab-based environment is desirable.
  • You should possess excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits and opportunities for growth and professional development.
