As an Outreach Tutor with Prospero Teaching, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students who have been out of education for some time. Your role will be to create and deliver tailored lessons that cater to the unique needs of each student, helping to boost their confidence and engagement levels.

This is an ideal position for experienced teachers who are looking to step away from the classroom and offer more personalised, enjoyable learning experiences. You will work closely with Prospero Teaching to monitor the progression of each student and provide effective support to ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in students' education
  • Work with students who have been out of education for some time, helping to reengage them in their learning
  • Provide structure and support to help students reintegrate into a new school placement
  • Collaborate with Prospero Teaching to monitor student progression and provide effective support

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • Ability to think creatively and work with students who have diverse needs
  • Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service
  • Two professional child-related references
