About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Support Officer to join our team at Cambridgeshire County Council. As a key member of our support team, you will provide professional, proactive, and confidential support to our Service Directors, enabling them to focus on organisational priorities and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of their services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Diary management and email monitoring
  • Agenda management and minute taking
  • Linking to key corporate areas of work
  • Coordinating Councillor complaints and internal governance processes
  • Participating in an established hub of Executive Assistants and Personal Assistants

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have well-developed knowledge of business administration processes and IT systems. An understanding of key commissioning principles within local authorities is advantageous, but not essential as this can be taught by the team. You will also have an A-C grade in GCSE English and Maths or equivalent standard, including experience.
