HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team at Valiant Integrated Services. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air and water cooled chillers, AHUs, cooling towers, VAVs, EAVs, CAVs, roof top and DX units, environmental/walk-in boxes, incubators, and humidifiers.
• Work from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications to locate and diagnose failed components in HVAC systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including troubleshooting equipment, performing project take-offs, and soliciting quotations in support of the procurement process.

• Must have a strong understanding of refrigeration theory and be versed in current codes and standard practices.
• Should have a minimum of five years' experience in commercial/industrial facilities and a solid fundamental understanding of maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair principles.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hold a current journeyman's license (Maryland) and be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
