Domestic Plumbing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Plumber with multi-trade expertise to join our Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) in High Wycombe/Chesham. This 6-9 month FTC position offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual to make a real difference in the lives of our customers.
About the Role
As a key member of our DLO team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality plumbing and maintenance services to our customers. Your day-to-day activities will include a range of tasks such as repairs, diagnostics, and reactive maintenance. With a focus on providing top-notch service, you will work closely with our customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
You will be equipped with a fully stocked van, including a fuel card, all necessary tools, and a tablet for managing your schedule. Our comprehensive benefits package includes competitive salary, excellent benefits, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day plumbing and maintenance tasks to a high standard, focusing on first-time fixes and meeting target response times.
- Maintain accurate records and documents, adhering to company procedures and protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring positive representation of Paradigm Housing in all interactions.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures, conducting regular risk assessments and maintaining safe working practices.
- Optimise resource usage, manage van stock effectively, and handle company assets responsibly.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will require extensive plumbing expertise, particularly in domestic repairs and fault-finding. Your ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, combined with your proactive approach to problem-solving, will be invaluable in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant City & Guilds (Part 1 & 2), NVQ2, or equivalent experience
- Apprentice trained or a minimum of 5 years experience as a plumber
- Familiarity with building codes, safety standards, and maintenance regulations
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexibly, on your own initiative, and as part of a team
Salary Package: £38,993 + Excellent Benefits
