Job Description: Risk and Governance Expert

The PayPoint Group is seeking an experienced Risk and Governance Expert to join their Risk and Internal Audit team. This role will provide assurance over risk management, governance, and control processes across the Group.

As a Risk and Governance Expert, you will be responsible for providing third-line assurance that the risk framework across the Group is robust and operating effectively. Your key responsibilities will include:
  1. Identifying and assessing risks to the Group's operations and reputation
  2. Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
  3. Monitoring and reporting on risk-related activities
  4. Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure effective governance practices
  5. Providing expert advice and guidance on risk management and governance matters

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think objectively. You should also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to work effectively on your own and as part of a team.

Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Requirements: Strong background in risk management and governance, preferably gained in the financial services or fintech sectors. Experience working with Microsoft Office and auditing or accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential.
