Job Title: HGV Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team at Breedon Group plc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for delivering concrete, asphalt, and aggregates safely and efficiently throughout South Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver products to customers in a timely and professional manner
* Liaise with the internal Distribution Team and external customers to ensure smooth delivery operations
* Maintain a high level of health, safety, and environmental standards in accordance with Breedon's policies
* Work closely with the area Transport Manager to optimize delivery schedules and routes
* Contribute to the team by maintaining a flexible approach to working hours, including occasional nights and weekends

Requirements:

* Valid Class C License and current Driver CPC
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* Hard-working and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn
* Flexibility to work variable hours, with the availability for occasional nights and weekends
* Genuine interest in the construction materials industry and a commitment to continuous personal and professional development
