The Priory Hospital Preston is a leading provider of mental health care services, renowned for its calming and recovery-focused treatment programs.

Our experienced multidisciplinary team includes consultant psychiatrists, psychologists, and nurses who work together to deliver person-centered care and treatment programs.

We are currently seeking a part-time Consultant Psychiatrist to join our acute ward team, providing cross-coverage to other wards as needed. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising the process of referral and admission, including contributing to pre-admission assessments.

This role is pivotal in ensuring that patients receive high-quality, first-class psychiatric care. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional acute psychiatric care, we encourage you to apply.

To be successful in this role, you must hold a CCST/CCT or equivalent in the relevant areas of psychiatry and have experience working in inpatient settings with individuals with significant mental health difficulties.

You will also have experience at consultant level within the NHS and be an excellent team player, keen to participate in a multi-disciplinary approach to assessment.

We require you to continue holding registration with the GMC, including being on the special register for psychiatry.

As a Consultant Psychiatrist at The Priory, you can expect a competitive salary of approximately £150,000 - £200,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications.
