We are looking for a highly skilled Lawyer for Regulatory Affairs to join our team at LexisNexis Risk Solutions. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our business operations remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations.

About the Position

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. This position is based in the UK and offers a competitive benefits package, including generous holiday allowance, health screening, and access to extensive learning and development resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice and support on regulatory affairs matters, ensuring that our business operations remain compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into regulatory issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for employees, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain a compliant work environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and develop compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-7 years' PQE experience in compliance and/or litigation matters.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Prior transactional contracting experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks, demonstrating flexibility in a complex and constantly changing environment.
  • Show a high understanding of integrity and authenticity, with a commitment to upholding the highest ethical standards.
