About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled NPD Product Development Specialist to join our team at Stateside Foods. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for managing the development process from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop products that meet customer needs and are fit for purpose in the factory and market.
  • Develop and maintain links with external contacts, professional advisors, and official bodies.
  • Act as a role model for best people management practices, guiding and coaching direct reports.
  • Build effective relationships with all teams and participate in team meetings.
  • Work with other departments to deliver customer briefs.
  • Keep up to date with global trends, restaurant trends, and retailer launches.
  • Plan inspiration trips to deliver market-leading development ideas.
  • Ensure the smooth transition of new concepts and related processes through to manufacture.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in an NPD role with previous customer interaction.
  • Experience in the chilled food sector, preferably with contact with top retailers.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Personally effective, with excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
  • Ability to seek out and manage opportunities for continuous improvement and change.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.

Salary

$70,000 per annum, based on average industry standards.
