Job Overview

A unique opportunity has arisen at Amazon for a highly skilled Machine Learning Research Scientist to join the cutting-edge Generative AI Innovation Center. This role will enable you to drive innovation in a fast-paced organization, leveraging state-of-the-art generative AI algorithms to address real-world challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with scientists and engineers to research, design, and develop innovative generative AI solutions.
  • Work closely with customer engagement teams to understand adoption patterns for generative AI and share insights across teams and leadership.
  • Interact directly with customers to understand business problems, provide implementation guidance, and deliver briefing sessions on generative AI best practices.
  • Create and deliver tutorials, blog posts, sample code, and presentations tailored to technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams to inform product direction.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies, emphasizing world-class support as critical to customer success. Our Professional Services engage in diverse projects, providing collective AWS customer experience, best practices, and obsessing about strong customer success.

Requirements
  • At least 2+ years of experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business applications.
  • Masters degree in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field.
  • Proven knowledge of deep learning and experience hosting and deploying ML solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics, or equivalent quantitative field.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI and hands-on experience in prompt engineering, deploying, and hosting Large Foundational Models.
  • Hands-on experience building models with deep learning frameworks like Tensorflow, PyTorch, or MXNet.
