Pulse is a leading provider of radiography services, seeking a skilled Radiographer Specialist to join our team in Sheffield. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic imaging and the ability to provide high-quality care for patients.

The role involves conducting a range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including Fluoroscopy scans, while ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis. You will prepare patients for these procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and obtaining informed consent. Your responsibilities will also include operating and maintaining radiographic equipment to ensure it functions correctly and safely, as well as assisting in the initial interpretation of images and reporting significant findings to the supervising radiologist or clinician. In addition, you will maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures, including consent forms and reports. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

Requirements for this role include a relevant degree in Radiography or a related field, and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). A minimum of 1-2 years of post-qualification experience in a clinical setting, with experience in Fluoroscopy NHS or private in the UK, is also required. You must be proficient in using imaging equipment and have a solid understanding of radiographic techniques and safety protocols. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and to lead and supervise junior staff when required is also necessary. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure patient safety and accurate imaging results.
