About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Officer to join our team at Next, a leading retail company.

As a Loss Prevention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining a safe and secure working and shopping environment. You will be responsible for providing a uniformed presence to protect company assets and minimize loss.

This position is based in a retail environment, where you will work closely with store teams and build strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the store to identify and deter potential security threats.
  • Work closely with store management to ensure compliance with company security policies and procedures.
  • Investigate and report any security incidents or breaches.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies to share intelligence and best practices.
  • Provide training and support to store staff on security procedures and protocols.
  • Action any other duties as requested by the Regional Loss Prevention Manager.

About You:

  • You will have previous security experience within a retail environment, preferably with a leading retailer.
  • You will be flexible and willing to work across different stores and opening times.
  • You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with store teams and law enforcement agencies.
  • You will be well-organized and able to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • You will be hardworking, self-motivated, and always ready to use your initiative.
  • You will be comfortable with using IT systems and computers.
