Job Title: Assistant Planner

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Planner to join our team. As an Assistant Planner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our planning team in creating, amending, and updating construction programmes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programme Management: Create, amend, and update construction programmes detailing activity-based lists of sequential works with milestones, start/finish dates, durations, critical paths, resources, and labour/plant/material resources.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders and address potential changes and obstacles to the programme.
  • Risk Analysis: Analyse potential programme risks, develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions to project schedules, and provide recommendations and solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Commercial Support: Support estimating/commercial team and quantity surveyors to advise on project progress and change in commercial events/improvements.

  • A degree or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
