About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Eat Real and Proper Snacks. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take ownership of maintaining our plant, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the plant's equipment and infrastructure to maximize uptime and minimize downtime.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize processes and productivity.
  • Analyze unplanned downtime incidents to resolve root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  • Develop and train operators to perform routine maintenance tasks, freeing up engineering resources for further improvements.
  • Participate in site-wide initiatives to drive business performance, minimize environmental impact, and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive individual with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and possess strong communication and teamwork abilities.

A great day in this role is knowing that the plant is running smoothly, plans for future improvements are in place, and you have made a positive impact on the team and the business.

Requirements and Qualifications
  1. Safety knowledge: Familiarity with safety training programs (e.g., IOSH) and experience in maintaining a safe working environment.
  2. Multiskilled Engineer: Competence in electrical and mechanical repairs, with experience in PLC interrogation and problem-solving.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Ability to identify and implement process improvements, and a passion for delivering results quickly.
  4. Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information simply and effectively.
Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
