Job Title: Residential Support Worker

Leader Recruitment Group is currently hiring Residential Support Workers to join a compassionate team in Crawley.

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to provide care, guidance, and support to residents in our children's homes. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and supportive environment where residents can thrive and lead fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and support to residents in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Develop positive and trusting relationships with residents, promoting independence and self-esteem.
  • Implement individual care plans and support strategies tailored to each resident's specific needs.
  • Encourage and facilitate resident's participation in recreational, social, and educational activities.
  • Observe and record residents progress, reporting any concerns or changes in behaviour to the appropriate team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care.
  • Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment that respects the dignity and rights of residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records related to resident care and progress.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in children support work, preferably within a residential setting.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and work effectively within a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
  • Must have a UK driving licence.
