Avionics Maintenance Lead

A seasoned Avionics Maintenance Supervisor is required to lead a team of engineers in a fast-paced corporate Jet MRO environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a B2 license, and experience in managing teams in high-pressure situations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a team of avionics engineers, conducting appraisals and overseeing daily operations
• Provide technical support for service bulletins and modifications, ensuring technical excellence
• Oversee C5 approvals and Battery Bay operations, ensuring smooth work flows
• Report progress, manage manpower, and coordinate with hangar management
• Collaborate for parts procurement, repairs, and technical information, authorizing repair requests and managing high-cost spares
• Ensure adherence to company and health & safety procedures, overseeing quality control for timely service releases
• Maintain communication with customer representatives and address their requests
• Identify and implement productivity enhancements and cost reductions
Qualifications
• Strong leadership and organisational skills
• Full unrestricted B2 licence
• Recognised apprenticeship in the aviation industry
• Experience in leading teams in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
