Senior Business Analyst - Regulatory Reporting

Vallum Associates is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the development and enhancement of Solvency II regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and enhancement of Solvency II regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with the latest regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and refine the mapping of complex insurance data to meet regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and consistency across reporting systems.
  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including Risk, Finance, and IT departments, to gather requirements, provide insights, and drive decision-making processes.
  • Manage and deliver key projects within the regulatory reporting space, from inception to completion, ensuring that all deliverables meet the required standards and timelines.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all regulatory reporting processes, data mappings, and system configurations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant focus on Regulatory Reporting within Financial Services or Insurance industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of Solvency II regulations, insurance data mapping, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, data mapping tools, and reporting systems (e.g., SQL, Excel, BI tools). Experience with regulatory reporting software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CFA, CIMA) are a plus.
